Actually that was me taking both the GS and the KLR there (it's the volcano next to Banos, Ecuador), my g/f wouldn't do it for some reason! (and yes, the right side panniers had to come off for that bit)

I went to do this recently but (I think this is just the wet season) there was a giant cloud covering the entire area around the yungas road, it was raining REALLY heavily and I was wet and freezing my ass off and 2-up on a 200cc so I decided to give it a miss though I'm still in Bolivia for a few more months, may give it a go later.

The new road is still extremely dangerous, inside the cloud I could hardly see a thing and I had to ride slow but worry about a truck coming up my ass.
