Crossing Siberia in Winter
 

Dear 4x4 travelers,
I have just made it alive out of Russia - after having crossed Siberia and Russia from Vladivostok (15th of January) to St. Petersburg (15th of March) with my Land-Cruiser HDJ82.
It was a beautiful trip - especially frozen Lake Baikal (yes, you can drive on the lake!) and Mongolia was fantastic.

I would like to add that the road between Chaborowsk and Chita is nearly finished and not at all a problem to drive (in fact, many Russians drive that bit with their Toyota and Honda sedans without more problems than some punctures).
