Cross Omo River kenya - can a 4x4 do it?
 

Howdy folks

Has anyone crossed the Omo river in a 4x4 - in particular i'm refering to the crossing indicated on maps just west of Kelem - North of lake Turkana.

Bikers on this route have to use canoes to cross.

Traveling from north to south, this is the only route that affords access to the west side of Lake Turkana - unless you detour via and through the more northely Omo National Park.

Would be interest5ed to know if anyones done it
