Gas Storage

Hi

i have a gas cooker fitted to the back door of my 110, i want to install a gas bottle locker under the wheen arch (similar to a jerry can storage locker) but need some way of harnessing the bottle within the locker - any suggestions?

Also copper or rubber pipes? and suggstions on the better one to use to run the gas to the back door?

if anyone knows of good parts suppliers for these types of fittings (includig water) can they post a weblink for me

many thanks
Matt

Matt,

Copper tubes will crack faster than you think. Use rubber, making sure it's away from sharp edges.

gas bottles

Go to a caravan shop (there are thousands of them). They have all sorts of handy gadgets for things like thta. I have a 130 and fortunately it already has a gas locker, but I went to a caravan place to get rubber hose (def. avoid copper) regulator etc.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
