WANTED - under body fuel tanks for L/R Discovery

hi there,

my dad is after some long range under body fuel tanks for his l reg discovery. any sort will be considered although he likes the under sill type.

we are located in s w wales but collection can be arranged.

From memory, if you look in mags like Motorcaravan monthly (and that sort of thing) in the ads at the back you will find guys who make custom tanks for fuel and water to order (they wont be cheap though)

Also, Allisport may do them, they did a water tank for my Defender.

There's no underbody fuel tank for LR discovery. The best you can do is a ca 30-L rear wing tank (N/S) plus a smaller custom made tank for the O/S wing.

hi,

thanks for the replies.

we have some local companies that we have used in the past who can make them but we would like to buy them ready made as designing them from scratch could take a long time.

in chris scott's book sahara overland he states that some companies do make long range tanks for the discovery and even has a picture of thr under sill type that we would ideally like.
