The path to the dark side...

Hola,

After bouncing around S.America for two years on a bike I've been drawn to the dark side, today I bought a truck.

Sir Isaac Newtown had a lot to do with my decision by neglecting to turn off the gravity when I fell off a lorry - its tough to ride with a busted shoulder.

So why am I posting here ? Well, having aquired a LWB 4x4 pickup in Peru I'm sketching plans to convert it into an overlander - basically replacing the bed with some living space.

Any pointers on doing the conversion would be welcome, things like design suggestions, 'must haves', websites with examples etc.

don't know the web address but the travelvans book (website of the same name) is very good on this. there was a lot of discussion on this site about a year ago about converting trucks so plough through and you may find the topic again. (or try camper in the search section)
