Gas hob with grill but no oven required

I've done the deed, ordered my truck (Oberaigner / KrugXP) but despite searching high and low, can't find the cooking appliance I'm looking for. I'm a lousy cook so don't need an oven, but can appreciate being able to grill / toast the odd item so want a two or three ring hob with a small grill underneath - but no oven. There's hundreds of hobs available, and plenty of hob / grill / oven combinations, but I can't seem to find a combo with just the hob and grill. Or if someone can recommend 'just a grill' I can then choose a hob to go over it, but I'd prefer a tailor made combination.

I thought I'd looked everywhere but no doubt someone will put me straight in minutes....I hope.

If it's rugged enough to survive in an overland truck rather than a caravan or tarmac only motorhome, then it's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks - see I knew someone would know!

I do wonder if it's heavy duty enough though? But the spec is right.

There are a lot of "camping cooker/grills" which you need to avoid like the plague if fitting inside a campervan as they will not have flame failure devices fitted - hence the large price difference between something like a Smev to a Coleman.

Thanks Roger. Trust me, if you'd seen the bill for the truck build, you'd know why buying a Smev doesn't phase me! Steve's suggestion of searching for marine hob has thrown up a lot more choices for me.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
