LR 109 RHD for sale in mozambique in December

Hello!

I am living and working in Mozambique. I will be here until December and I am about to buy a 109 for some tours around Maputo on the weekends. Also, in November/December I am planning a trip around southern Africa.

The car is in good general shape, but the gearbox is not so good... I will put the car fit, and then use it in my southern Africa tour.

Is anyone interested in taking it from December for similar use of for a drive back to Europe or UK (since the car is RHD)?

I am a mechanical engineer and my company has workshops, so, probably I will be able to prepare the car to any specification, or leave it as it is after my tour.

Anyone interested?

The car is a 3 door (11 places!) 1983 – 2.25Petrol Land Rover 109

Cheers,

Renato Braz

Got it! Now I will start preparing for my November/December trip!

Correction on the latter message: 9 places instead of 11…

Cheers,

R.

Me again!

After some general works the car has been tested in trips to south africa and to zimbabwe.
Now it's time to prepare the big trip in november and in december I will be selling it for around 1600 Euros / 2000 USD.

Cheers,

R.

Hi
We are passing through Tete in November and then be based in Bulawayo in December - maybe we'll see you around.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
