Land Rover Defender prices
 

OK - trying to do some homework and I know the guys here are likely to have a clue.
Anyone care to guess how much I could expect to pay for a landrover defender 110 - year around mid to late-'80's purchased in Morocco? I realize there are lots of things to factor in but at this stage of the game I am looking for a general price range.
I have gone to www.lrx.com but most prices are for more luxury/late models in N. America.

OK I guess I can answer my own question now after going through my contacts in Maroc, Land Rovers are more expensive to buy outside of the UK, this makes a lot of sense. A defender 110 goes for $20,000 US or more in Morocco. Guess its down to a lttle trip to the UK and working through the paperwork to import from here. Can post more after Oct. if anyone is interested.

Certainly new landrovers are cheaper in Europe than in the UK. Don't know how they compare with prices in Morrocco. Presumably you can get copies of the LR magazines so have a look in those. Otherwise try searching on autotrader.co.uk or other car sales websites for an indication.

Yup on that already Toby2, thanks. I have lucked out and found a LR guru right here in my city, and he lives next door to my best friends. Steered me in the right direction with the UK connection/technical info/model types. How lucky is that?
