Iveco 40.10. truck fuel tank help

Hi Guys,

I am in desperate need for a replacement fuel tank for my Iveco, it is used as an Emergency Support Unit for the British Red Cross in Northern Scotland.

The tank has sprung a leak and is too badly corroded to be repaired. With all the bad weather now starting for Winter, we use the truck a lot to support assisting at floods etc. (we used to truck at the flooding in Cockermouth last November).

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to find a replacement tank here in the UK? The sooner I can get one the sonner it will be back on the road. Garage is talking about having to buy one from Italy!!

cheers,

Ray

Iveco Van DAILY Fuel Tanks
I'm in Northumberland and will be on Skye the weekend after next, if you can sort something that's easier delivered here, I could bring it up easy enough.
Good luck

Hi Rich,

many thanks for the offer, luckily the garage have managed to source a new plastic tank reasonably local and hopefully it should be back up and running ready for running to floods and other disasters by next week

cheers, Ray
