isuzu 2.8 4JB1 engine experiences
 

does anyone have any experiences of this engine particulary, duarbility,reliability, parts availability etc etc. there is a chance that a new '07 spec engine might find its wasy into my 110.

a friend of mine uses Isuzu engines in all his work vehicles - he uses Range Rovers 130's and 110's - all perform well and never seems to have any particular problems, however not sure which model Isuzu engine he uses. Could be problematic getting parts in some countries.

I was told, by the guys who know it's a great engine, as good as a Toy but cheaper and economical in fuel. Parts? not as easy to find, however not really a problem cause they are very reliable.
