Hello everyone, I am an IVECO 4X4 fans.

Dear all,
I am very happy to join this forum.last year,i noticed that IVECO 4X4.
it is possible to be modified to a tour-house with 4WD ability.
There is a picture of IVECO 4X4 in China as follows.
because China is a developing country, it is difficult to get information enough to support me to design my tour-house,of course i do not want to buy a IVECO 4X4 before completing design( it costs 30,000euro with low-temporature starter assistant, i only can earn 20,000euro every year)
i perfer to get more information about construction of IVECO to complish the design, and looking forward more suggestions about some accessories.

1.i want to use a diesel genorator in my tour-house.but it goes off 50~60db (diesel type)while running. i want to lay it on the ground under my tour-house when i use it.is anybody can give me some suggetions to isolate the big noise?
i do not want to be disturb by big noise when i sleep in the IVECO.

looking forward your suggestion and thank you.

please forgive my poor english, and i hope you can understand what i mean.

thank you all

Batteries iso generator?

Hi,

You can off course isolate a generator by putting it in a box with sound isolation. You'll have to take care of cooling etc.

There are reasonable quite generators on the market, but they still make some noise.

I would suggest to install a living battery. At night you don't need a lot of electrical power anyway, so a battery should be sufficient to get you trough the night. During the day the battery can be charged using solar panels, the alternator of the engine, a generator, or a combination of those.

Hi Robbert,
Thank you for your reply.you give me a shock.
yes,you are right.before i fall in sleep, i can use a generator to support light and something else and the noise is acceptable i think,at same time to charge the battery, when i want to sleep, just turn off the generator and use the heating system with the battery.
thank you for your suggestion.

have a good day (I think it is daytime in Euro now)!
