They really are like giant (or useful sized) Pinzgauers!

And if you're self-building this thread is a book of ideas in itself (there's an idea...):

Exact Date for Book

Hi Chris, do ou have an exact date for the book, or is that too far in the future? If so I'll put a reminder in my calender .....

Nice sand ladder action too!

Well if I have my way it will be in the shops for Easter 2008.
We've lately decided to make it bigger and better than the plain AMH and Sahara format, while covering everything from 2CVs to MAN KATs and all the rest. Like Sahara II, vehicle choice and prep will be the most of it.

I wonder if I could put those san ladders on the 90 if i made them a bit longer..........id have to keep the steering wheel straight while they are in use though ;)

That 6x6 Tatra is a nice truck - well sprung and with great axle articulation - I could live in that - permanantly !!!

Mario - what are you working on at the moment ? - those big 'Star' beers at Brenu are worth the drive !!! ....great photos on your website by the way....

Im in Canada waiting on a Work Visa....theres a distinct lack of overland trucks over here... and not many Defenders :(

Cheers

not really.., the front axel does not rotates as the rear one, and you'll need exactly the same rotation
