Brownchurch Roof Rack for Toyota LC

We are planning a year trip across Africa in a Toyota Landcruiser HZJ75 (station wagon).
Having read plenty of praise about Brownchurch roof racks (on all different kind of vehicles) we would like to go for that option.
However, Brownchurch's standard models are only built for Landies but they can adapt one (support struts and clamps) to fit our Toyota.
The question is (and the answer might be a very obvious one) will they be able to achieve the same clamps strenght/grip as they do with their standard items?
Would we be better off using a different brand that builds racks specifically for our car?
Are they any do and don't do in the clamps department that we should be aware of?
Thanks v. much for any advice.

Hi,

Brownchurch can make any roofrack if you bring the vehicle for measurements. I have a roofrack which is custom built but based on the basic B-rch model made specifically for Landcruiser 80 series. At the time of ordering you can specify length, height, number of support points, type of finish, etc.
