Bridgestone HT Dueler in Morocco

How will Bridgestone HT Dueler tires under a Nissan Pickup perform in Morocco?

I'm taking my Nissan for a 4000 km trip, mostly the usual pistes in the south and mountainpistes in the High Atlas 'escorting' a group of bikers. I now have the standaard HT Duelers. Will the perform good enough?
As this trip is probably a one time event I don't really want to spend much money on AT tires which after the trip I will use mostly for commuting.

Hi I have a Nissan Pick-up with these tyres which I have used off road in the UK-I live in a remote location-and in Spain. You don't say when you're going and the likely conditions, but my experience is that these tyres are hopeless in mud and pretty crap when things are the slightest bit tricky. For instance I got stuck on a slippery mountain track and had to get myself out with a hand winch and a Renault Extra van-which didn't get stuck. Very embarassing!

back from Morocco

Hi,

Just got back from Morocco, 10.000 km in total, 2500 off-road. Before I left I had new tyres fitted on my Pickup. Since the original HT's were no longer available my dealer came up with Bridgestone V604 Desert Duelers. Whats in a name: these are MudSnow tyres.
With no previous experience with cars in morocco I can only say they did the job well. No flats and never the feeling of losing control. Stuck in the sand only twice, mainly poor judgement from my side then poor tyres. The fact that this are MudSnow tyres was usefull in the High ATlas were we had snow and plenty of mud :-)
On the road they perform as well as the original HT's. Maybe even better in rain and the noise is not worse than with teh HT's.
