Corbeau reclining bucket seats. Very comfortable with good lumbar support. Try for fit before buying. Only downside is that on a high vehicle you have to mind your undercarriage on entry and exit.

Seats?

Recaro.

Just type it in to ebay and you will find loads out of 80/90's Fords/Vauxhalls/BMW's/Audi's/VW's etc.

So many around you can pick them up for £10 upwards.

Speak to the guys at Exmoor Trim, bags of experience in LR seats but also retrim Cobra or Corbeau seats to suit. Can recommend the 'Outlast' temperature control fabric as well - took it on trial through to the Gambia and rarely suffered a sweaty back so well worth the investment.

These make of seats are fitted in trucks a lot, and certainly work. I am sure you could get ones from scrapped trucks. New type ones have air suspension - very nice! Older mechanical suspension also good though.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
