Fully Kitted 92 Toyota Hilux for sale (SA reg) in Cape Town - ZAR95,000

Vehicle Description:
One fully equipped Toyota Hilux double cab ready for a true ‘plug and play’ adventure!

Vehicle is being sold complete with all camping gear, 4x4 gear, tools and accessories to get you on the open road faster. Most equipment and modifications are 12 months old and tried and tested on a solo trip we took through 12 African countries during 2011/2012.

We are a Mechatronics Engineer and Industrial Designer and spent 3 months and over R50,000 working to turn this vehicle into our dream ‘adventuremobile’. But now we’re flying out of Africa and leaving it all behind to the next in line. So it’s all ready to go and presents a very cost effective way of seeing Africa.

This classic solid front axle truck has legendary overland performance and reliability with common parts available throughout Africa.

Please note almost all equipment is used but very well looked after. Also note that we are currently still travelling so there may slight variations in the final list of items which will be noted. If you are interested in seeing a brief video of some of the features of the truck, email me.

**Vehicle available mid-May in Cape Town. We are currently travelling around South Africa and therefore could possibly meet a serious buyer in their preferred South African city.

I would also suggest you advertise this in South African gumtree. I sold a similar spec 1991 4Y Hilux about 18 months ago in Cape Town.

Whilst you may find a buyer via the HUBB, all the serious interest in my vehicle came via gumtree.

Hi Bar, sorry for the delay in response - have had a hectic few weeks and already sold the truck for the asking price in Cape Town. Thanks for your interest and good luck in your search!

Thanks Matt - You are right, I had it on Gumtree and had most interest via that channel. Also the eventual buyer.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
