Hi,

I bought the SS side tank for a td5 110 from these guys:

Land Rover Defender 110 Fuel Tanks

and it's fine. All that's needed was in the kit, but a pig to fit it. Does'nt leak, but only installed a few months yet.

I've got a Safari-Equip sill tank to fit a Defender for sale. I had one each side for a Gilf Kebir trip, don't need to carry 400litres of fuel now so I've changed the Left side one for a water tank. The tank holds (I think) 55 litres and it used a lift pump to transfer to the main tank.

The tank is now a bit scruffy externally, but still works fine - the lift pump broke when I was removing it, but they should be easy enough to find, and I was planning to change it to direct lift by the engine fuel pump anyhow (then you still have a spare fuel supply if main tank damaged) Rest of the fitting and pipework is present.

The tank is in Ireland at the moment, but if you aren't in a hurry I could get it over to Britain at some stage, I travel back & forth a bit...
