Wanted: 4x4 Pop-top Camper in either Southern Sth.Am or Australia
Gday, I'm planning to drive the PanAm Hiway later this year and I'm looking high and low for my rig.

Top of my wishlist is a very solid Landcruiser Troopcarrier with Pop-Top and camper setup in the back (two burner cooker, Engel or other fridge, storage etc. all the standard stuff)). My budget is anything less than AU$30k, but we can talk if the right rig comes up. Have searched all over the internet, found a few, but haven't found the one that sings out to be bought.

Must be structurally and mechanically sound (running well and roadworthy) but cosmetic issues aren't such a big deal - i can spend some time to fix those up.

I will consider other 4wd makes with pop-top+camper setup if they are out there. I'd prefer a Troopy 78R, but will definitely consider a good FJ45 with a good setup.

Location wise: southern South America OR somewhere in Australia (I can ship it over to SthAm if i need to).

Any help would be appreciated. Happy to discuss my plans with anyone too!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
