Smile Vw crewcab for sale: South America:Colombia or Ecuador

FOR SALE: Original German 1970 VW Crewcab

I bought the van in Bolivia when i was living in Sucre and have been driving around South America now for 7 months with the view to ship her back to the Uk. However my situation has changed and i am now looking to sell her here. I have all the original paperwork from 1970 plus have transferred all the necessary ownership papers into my name.
The engine was overhauled by me and another Vw specialist mechanic when i bought her and i have done over 7,000km without missing a beat. Several oil changes have been carried out along with new brakes and general servicing.. new sparks, points, condensor etc etc.. I have installed a decent stereo system and she has a custom made tent for the back for sleeping, which can be removed for sleeping under the stars.

She is a rare site here in S. America and gets a lot of attention from people plus the cops seems to love her too.

Dont be fooled into thinking you need a 4WD only here. I have travelled through 8 countries so far and have driven on some serious roads with this van and have always made it through, beit slowly. She has great clearance and unless you want to drive up a mountain, good ole rear 2WD is fine.
Tools and other equipment included too.

So if you are looking for a good reliable van with personality that turns heads and will make your trip through South America a memorable one, then you've found it.

Im currently in Colombia, heading north, slowly toward the coast.
If you are interested please mail me and allow a few days for a reply. I can send pictures once i have your mail address.

Cheers
D

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
