Question HJ60 Split Rear Seat - WANTED!!

Does anyone out there have, or can point me in the right direction to, a split rear seat(s) for a 1989 RHD 60-series Landcruiser? I have a bench seat fitted which goes right across the back, but need to remove it (it is in good condition so could trade??) in order to free up space behind the driver, then fit a single rear seat for a 3rd passenger.

If you know of anywhere I could look (scrap yards in Bristol and London have proved pretty useless!) then that would be great. Ideally I need just the left-hand-side seat (to go behind the front passenger), but if they come in a pair then thats not a problem.

Similarly, if anyone knows of a Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun split rear seat then that may work too.

Thanks!

Hi ThisRoad,
Sorry i can't help you with a seat, but incase you weren't sure, they definitely do exist. I was lucky enough to get given one by the bloke i bought my 60 from. Its a good set up, a 60 works well in 3 seat mode.
I still nose about quite a bit at various trucks, so if i spot one i'll let you know for sure.

Alll the best
Sam

Thanks, Sam. You're right, I have seen them before, but trying to lay my hands on one that is not already fitted to a 60 is proving a tad tricky! Thanks for keeping a eye out...

Regards,
Tom

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
