Toyota Land Cruiser Bj65 zu verkaufen

We are a young Swiss couple and have been on the road in South America for the last 3 months in our Californian registered Toyota Land Cruiser 1985, maunal. The truck is mechanically in sound conditions, following parts have been replaced/work performed within the last 40’000 kilometers: Clutch, brakes, leafsprings, gaskets, wheel bearings, engine gaskets, valve adjustment. Over the last 3 months we have invested over US$ 3’000 into the vehicle, including 4 brand new BF Goodrich AT tires, gaskets and bearings of the power steering pump, oil pump, brake master cylinder have been replaced. Both fan belts and the pulley of the oil pump and the break lines are new, front shocks and all exhaust supports have been replaced. Brake fluid, engine, gearbox and axle oil has been changed recently. Gasoline consumption is about 17 liters/100km respectively 14 miles/gallon. The truck has a solid, large roof rack. The Land Cruiser has been regularly maintained with oil changes every 3’000 miles. Total mileage is 260’000. The truck has a functional RV set-up, the rear passenger seat transforms to a comfy bed in less than two minutes. Furthermore it has interior LED lights, a 12 volt fridge, additional power outlets all fed through an auxiliary 100Ah battery (new April 20, 2013) being charged by the trucks alternator. There is storage space for 6 large boxes underneath the bed plus additional room.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
