In answer to your question.

There is no mention on my v5 to the number of seats registered. It's a seven seater as new. All seats are to be sold with the vehicle

We had it down as a 5 seater (then we took 2 seats out to make more room before we left) on our carnet de passage and had paul Gowan add a letter to say it then had three seats just in case someone got annoying with the carnet details whilst looking through the vehicle in customs etc. No one ever did!
