Hi All

with regret I am selling my Discovery - fully prepped and equipped for off-roading, overland or expedition use. No Problem

HI Surfer

doesn't seem like a problem - I have a drive way that fits five cars, so should not be a problem. Alternatively I have friends with a farm, locally who would store there if you prefer.

Why don't you come down and have a look - she is very impressive and totally ready to go.

Cheers

Chris,

Nice Disco, I wish it were on this side of the pond....

Coincidently my DI is setup pretty similar to yours (except I have a petrol engine and not the TDi)

Good luck,

John C.

Hi John

thanks - the Tdi engine is the way to go over here and certainly for trips/overland/expeditions, can understand why the petrol is so popular over in the USA - the sound alone makes it worth while.

Thanks and regards

Chris

No Problem

Hi Surfer

understand your predicament, but over the next year or 18 months you shouldn't have a problem pre-arranging a buyer.
You mention your mate in Ilkley - no problem, he is welcome to come and have a look, only hitch might be that I am in Kent, SE England and Ikley is in Yorkshire, N England!!!

Forgot to mention Disco is MOT'd until Nov 2007 and Taxed until end of March 07.

Any other questions, queries, viewings or inspections do not hesitate to contact - pm, email or telephone.

Merry Xmas to All.

Chris

It's got to go....

Surfer/the couple who phone around Christmas,

this Disco really must go - I have found a 130 and need the cash.

There is also a load of goodies to be added if sold to someone here - recovery/tow rope with shackles, winch sale (stops the cable flying around should it break under pressure), spare winch cable, recovery/tree strops, loads of spare bits(belts etc), shovel for recovery and personal hygiene, some oils, ultraseal for tyres, Rema Tip-top puncture kit, torch with safety/fixing clamp, phone and gps mounts, new Warn cap, etc, etc, etc - boot of Disco will be suitably full.

This truck really is ready to go and comes with a tank of diesel, can arrange storage if you need it - if no offers within 48 hours its going up elsewhere and possibly on Eblag

see above posts for my contact details

Interested parties

Well have been a bit lazy about putting this up for sale - have had two interested parties one who took an age to come and have a look 'although very interested', then immediately said that they were looking for a truck, ie a 7.5 tonner!!!
the other made 2 offers the second of which I accepted - they then could find the money - would I be willing to hang on to the Disco for six months while they saved up??

So........ its back on the market, as I said before I would like it to go to someone who will use it for what it was built and prepped for - come-on you will not be disappointed. If no buyer will try eblag, then if still no buyer strart stripping and selling the kit.

There must be a buyer, someone looking to do a trip???????????????????

Chris

Has it been that long..........???

Well I have been trully lazy about shifting the Disco, but it must go and soon!!
I really do need to sort myself out with a bigger truck - probably a 130, so if anyone out there is looking for a well sorted 4x4 then here it is, of if any of you know of someone who might be interested then let me know or put them in touch - there will be a decent drink in way of a big thank you for a sale.

Mot'd till Nov and just put 6 months tax on the old girl, she is now at 95,500 miles and runs really well.

Looking for approx £4500 or poss £4000 less the winch - anyone???

Ta
