Land Rover for sale - overland trip now completed :-(

Having been there (overland from the UK to Ghana and back) and done that .... it's now time to say goodbye to our faithfull Landy. We'll be sad to see her go but we cannot justify just keeping her as a reminder of our fantastic trip.
She'll make an excellent companion for anyone doing a similar trip and has been prepared to a very high standard.
We've priced her realistically at £5750

Hi John
I see you are from Cornwall also :-)

The tyre pliers are the Australian ones and are unused
Have a look at BOAB, UK importers and distributors of Microfast Oztent, RV1, RV2, RV3 & RV4 and Autohome vehicle roof top tents - Maggiolina, Columbus, Overcamp & Overland. Specialist 4x4, expedition & outdoor equipment.
Retail price is £85
I will take £50

Tyre levers cost me about £25 for the pair so I will take £15

The puncture kit includes everything you are likely to need except an intertube. Can't exactly remember how much I paid but it was in the region of £45
see BOAB, UK importers and distributors of Microfast Oztent, RV1, RV2, RV3 & RV4 and Autohome vehicle roof top tents - Maggiolina, Columbus, Overcamp & Overland. Specialist 4x4, expedition & outdoor equipment. mine is like the Basic Drivers Kit) so a fair price would be £20

The total price would normally be be £85, but if you want the lot, you can have them for £80.

Regards
Ian

cheers

Hi Ian,
Which Viair compressor is it?
Looks like John's beat me to it on the tyre levers and repair kit!! Let me know if it doesn't work out, i'd certainly be interested.
All the best

Hi again Ian

If I had read the advert in the link you sent I could answer my own question!

I'd like the bead breaker, tyre irons and repair kit

£80.00 is fine

I'm just outside Newquay - When would it be convenient to come over?

cheers

john

Viair

It is the 400P model
I have used it just a few times in the desert when lowering and raising tyre pressure.
No need for it now as I sold the Landy yesterday :-(

I got it from Matt Savage, here is the link:
Matt Savage Land Rover Parts Portable Compressors

400P Portable Compressor Kit Ref: 40043
400P Portable Compressor Kit (33% Duty, 40 Min. @ 30 psi , Sealed)

The retail price is £197.85
So at £100, that should be a bargain

Regards
Ian

Land Rover now sold :-(
Still not sure I did the right thing, but one can't be sentimental ... other adventures all lined up :-)
Cycling from Santander to the Med and back to Roscoff ... this was the trade off for the overland trip to Ghana ... it seemed a good idea at the time !!!!

Viair

Hi Ian,
£100 would be fine. Would you be prepared to put it in the post to me? (at my expence & once you had the cash of course)
If ok with you i could either wire you the cash with a bank transfer or post you a cheque.

Sam
