Land Rover 1962 for sale in Barcelona

Land Rover Santana Series II 1962 petrol SWB. Spanish so left hand drive. Price 4.800 Eu

Canvas top, new (14.000) lead free engine, new 45D4 distributor with electronic ignition, (not visible since inside of distributor) new weber carburetor, new water pump, new clutch, new clutch pumps, new rod ends, new half shafts, new front and rear main shaft. Lots of new parts.

It's in mechanically perfect order. All parts have been checked, corrected or changed. Ready to go anywhere. Since all was rebuilded it's quite economical in petrol.

I sell it with both canvas and hard top. It comes with two original tanks under both seats. It comes with original front and back seats. Three original wheel carriers: bonnet, back seat, back door. Original 600x16 and also got 205x16. Original rounded Smith heater. ALL original except: carb and dizzy, but I also got the originals Zenith and Lucas 25D4 in perfect condition.

Downsides: 1- it's got the lights in the fenders and not by the metal grille, but easily corrected. 2- it needs a paint job.

If you want pics or more info please write me at:

armadillo (aatt) hollyroot (dot) org

Location: Barcelona but if arranged I can deliver

They can say whatever bull about Land Rovers but this Santana Series II never did let me down. It was builded to go for ever.

I would go along with that, the santanas have always been (and, in their new PS guise continue to be) better than the uk made vehicle.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
