Smile Great Suzuki 4x4 in e. Africa Equipped, low mileage and cheap -Available now

Brilliant little Suzuki Jimny 2005 model VVT equipped and ready now in E Africa. Bought at 15,000 miles [/B]from new this has now completed a further 44,000 miles in Africa and has been amazing, capable, quiet, comfortable, reliable and has embarassed more serious vehicles in desert conditions. Being small, it's also great fun to drive on the loose stuff.

In all this time, it has had no mechanical problems, has never failed to negotiate some of the worst roads and sand, and only one shock absorber has failed. Others though were replaced as a matter of course.

It comes with slightly oversized quality off road tyres, two of which are practically new + two spares, roof rack, three 20l jerry cans, tools, jack, some spare parts and containers ready to go. Battery has been replaced, oil is changed regularly, bearings, bushes etc have been checked and are fine. There are no issues though when I return to the car soon I shall replace the front spots and the roof bars. Having watched a Land Cruiser struggling in the sand , I was showing my friend that the little jimny would have no such problems, not remembering I had tied the roof rack to a coconut tree with the obvious result as it sped off. Needless to say the tree stayed still, and the car moved pretty quickly.

So if you don't need to take the kitchen sink (and it is possible to sleep inside-Flat), want something capable and fun, cheap and economical (remember too that insurances and some borders charge on the basis of cc so at 1328 it can save quite a lot), then it's pretty hard to beat.
And the price an amazing £3250

If you are serious and need photos let me know. I have no hesitation in believing this car will navigate the globe, so if it doesn't sell I will be shipping on to Asia to continue the journey.

It would be interesting to know where the car is situated at the moment, where it is registered and whether a carnet is attached to it.

Suzuki Location

Hi Thanks for the response. The car is currently in Mombasa Kenya. When I return to the car, I would be happy to drive it to other surrounding countries. It is UK registered, could be locally registered in some other countries though Kenya has a 6 year rule for importation. The Car will have a new carnet though this will need some further explanation. Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
