I prepared my 1994 Toyota Surf 3.0 Turbo diesel SSRX for a trip to India back in 2006. After 47,000kms of trouble free driving it passed the MOT test with only a number plate bulb gone, what an amazing vehicle, ok i had a few issues on the road but nothing that ever stopped me......

I put the truck in the garage and then got the bike out and had a very long ride. Im only now back in England and would like to see the toyota go to a good home that will use it.

The Toyo has been fitted out in the rear with large timber boxes for storage and slightly heavier rear springs to compensate for the extra weight. The boxes are quite low so that you can sleep in the rear of the truck if you get stuck for a hotel or wild camp.

The car has stood for nearly 3 years however with about five turns of the engine she fired up and runs as if i only turned her off yesterday...astonishing (even the batteries are good after a charge)

Ok..If you are interested in the car as it stands £1200 (no offers)and its yours, without mot or tax, however if i get an mot which shouldnt be a problem i would want more for it as i could then sell it to the general public

If you want it for Expedition.....why bother with an MOT youll never be asked for it outside england.

Sorry no photos, ill try and get some on.....the truck is in fair overall condition, but its been to some crazy place so its got a few scratches and dinks.

This a very cheap way to get away from the madness, its tried and tested and needs a little fettling before a RTW.....
