1999 Discovery TD5 automatic ( 5 seater / commercial )

First of all I really dont want to sell but changes with work means im after a pickup to carry more length over more distance amongst other reasons.

Its been though a few members on the Land Rover forums so is well traceable and I got it a couple of years ago from Dave (thebiglad).

When I got it it had a commercial rear so only 2 front seats and the back had a storage compartments. It was very dark tinted with the genuine heavy duty flooring including tie down points. Since then ive done a few bits to it but ill note all the points below

160,000 miles but always in use
Orignall a 7 seater that was converted to a commercial but is now a 5 seater with the boot still as a commercial
HD winch bumper on the front and HD rear bumper
Steering guard
HD spring conversion (from air but still have a compressor pipes if wanting to convert back)
Diff lock fitted (not all came with this)
De-EGR'd
5 General Grabber AT² tyres
Rear light guards
Saudi grill
Heated windscreen that was brand new last year with reciept for fitting
Dvd player linked to rear parking camera
Full service history in excel form so you can see whats been done and when etc.
New viscous fan, auxillary belt and injector harness this year
Will have had an engine oil and filters service when the parts turn up after payday

Also have a Nanocom Evo diagnostic tool that will be available with the SLS compressor and pipes if they are not wanted by the buyer.

The previous owners have been meticulous in the upkeep of the vehicle which is why I brought it and this shows in both the reliability and quality of drive.
In the last two years its had engine oil, transfer box oil, autobox oil, diff oil, air filter, fuel filter, brake fluid, rear discs and pads and coolant changed.
Ive driven it from central France when I got it, before that it had been round Europe and over the last two weeks its done 2000 miles with ease.

Im in absolutley no rush to sell and will only do for the right price otherwise ill just keep it but unfortunatly it will end up tatty which would be a shame for a tidy one

Any questions etc then please do ask

Im based in Taunton in Somerset and its being advertised on the 4x4 forums but wont go on ebay just yet

A few pictures to show it since its been in my ownership but many more are available of anything that is needed (please note the light bar is and storage box are no longer fitted) :

and a picture of the only real dent / scratch to the vehicle

Any more pictures of anything are available on request and am hoping to get some more recent pictures but ive just got back off holiday this morning and its cold, dark and wet !

Price wise im after £3500 without the SLS compressor or Nanocom but open to offers on deals

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
