USA (and Canada) 2012/13
 

It's by no means the most action packed or intensely off-road trip, but I thought that I should post a little about a trip that's now about 70% complete (and thus has enough of a backlog to make for a better read).

Long story short it's about our 12 month road-trip around the United States and Canada in our Australian Suzuki 4x4 (pulling around 5,000lbs of travel trailer). We did it arse about, heading north for winter and south for summer to better experience both the locals and the more interesting weather.

None of the technical and bureaucratic guff regarding shipping the car, crossing borders etc. had made it to the blog yet because we're still in the US and don't want to only put up half of the story (just in case leaving is even more torturous than getting in & around) but it'll be up there eventually.

n.b. I spent years lurking on this and other overlanding forums gathering information and would like to contribute a little back, now I know more than what I'd read elsewhere. We don't make a cent off the blog but hope what's there so far might inspire more people to take the leap towards their own adventure(s).
