Stonehenge to Cape Town - 1 year budget breakdown & costs
 

Hi folks,

We have now finished our trip and have been gathering our data together to share with others who might be preparing a similar trip. We kept a log of everything we spent, where we spent it and on what. To that end I have just published a 1 year breakdown of costs for 2 people and 1x4x4 for 1 year traveling North to South.

I am doing an article / podcast for Overland Live and would welcome posts / input from others who have kept similar records for trips in Africa, Asia, Americas and RTW - it would be good to share them with people and make some sort of baseline comparison. Please feel free to post here and email the data to me.

We will soon be posting more data on weather, fuel and travel stats when I have put them in a format that makes sense.
