Hi there...it was new new. the company i deal with..and have done a lot over the last few years...has a fantastic service. They was surprised that it failed and i believe them as in the past they have held their hands up to inferior parts and put thing right. The company in the UK is Roughtrax..Barry and the others there are first class. Just hope they get the address in France right!!!

Long time no post that its hard to know where to start...

We are now just South of Venice after a drive down the Cote azure and into Italy. Then onto Lake Maggiore and a drive into the Swiss/Italian mountains for some wild camping...2310mtrs up, up and more up... I have just spent ages answering emails and updating Facebook so will keep this brief and write up more later..

Our Facebook is "Kevin Heike" for anyone who want to see all the photos and chat.. For now here are a few pics..

Wow...nearly two years since we started and we are now in the Ivory coast.. as ever or lack of forward planning finds us here at the start of the very hot humid rainy season...
I have been checking in on the Hubb at times and must make the effort to check in the future more.
20-30 something countries visited so far.. i can't remember exactly as i have a problem even remembering the day of the week.
Stand out places..
East= Turkey
Europe= Romania
Africa= Mali
We have given in to the Facebook thing, so posts/reports tend to be there..its a shame really as the Hubb is such a better place to be...FB just seems easier to link with family as well as travel updates.
So, a BIG HELLO from us..we will continue to mess things up as well as have great successes as we travel...not sure life will ever be the same again..

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
