If you have any comments or questions on the website,
please let us know!
This site has been built very carefully, remembering that
our readers come from all over the world, often with very poor connections,
(56k is a dream for many) or in an internet cafe sharing one modem between
twenty computers.
Fast loading and compatibility with all browsers and screen
resolution has been a priority. Generally JavaScript is not required,
although we do use it where appropriate, especially on forms due to form spamming problems, and cookies are only
used on the HUBB because of the registration process
to post on the HUBB. See our Privacy
Policy for more.
Maybe not the prettiest site in the world, but we like
to think it's one of the most universal sites. We test on all
the browsers we can, at all resolutions from 640x480 to 1280x1024.
Firefox is now our main browser, and we highly recommend it over Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 4 and up,
and Opera 4 and up give the next best experience, with Netscape 4.7 poor but adequate, and later versions good. Also tested
on IE5, 5.5, and 6, and Mozilla and Netscape 7. It's even viewable on IE 2.0, which means it should be viewable
on just about anything. Yes, we have a copy, and we do test
with it. :)
We now have a new Mac for testing, so if you have a Mac and a problem, please let us know the details. We test
on the Mac with Safari, Firefox and IE.
We both use Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Paint Shop Pro and
Textpad on Windows 2000 or XP, running on Pentium 4 2800's with 1gb RAM and multiple
monitors, and a backup server to protect your data.
If you have a problem, please tell us all you can about
your environment - browser, operating system, and the exact problem so
we can reproduce it and solve the problem.
Thanks, Grant,
webmaster of sorts
