The site is now live with the new design, but there's lots of work to do yet! Blogs, the Shipping and Border Crossings database, blogs, country information wikis and much more is still to come.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Outdated.........................

Most Recent Home page Design: v5a

The Outer section of this design (Header and menu tabs, background and Footer) is getting close to what we want. The outer section will be the 'wraparound' for every page on the website, so it's the first priority.

The Inner section is still evolving, but reflects comments to date.

At this stage, we're very interested in feedback on colours and fonts and general look?

Also, we're aiming to get the Home Page down to a couple of screens, so less scrolling required. We could just go with a carousel and drop all other left-side content, to try to have the Home Page on just one screen, but we're not convinced it's possible (or sure it's a good idea). Opinions would be welcome!

What's next? We'll be attempting to wireframe (very rough sketch) several page 'types' over the next few weeks - for example:

Lots to come, so stay tuned and thanks! Grant & Susan

Home page Designs to date:

v1 FIRST rough draft of a potential design.

v2 can be seen on the Menus, version 10 there. It's strictly a cut and paste of v1 to adjust the order and layout we're thinking of, but it has a long way to go.

v3 Recut of v1 with horizontal tabs on the "Featured" section

v3a Recut of v1 with vertical tabs on the "Featured" section, otherwise identical.

v5 First draft with new header, outer graphic and carousel design.

Designs SOLELY for menu content - are we putting the right stuff where it needs to be so it can be found? Do they make sense?
