If you are planning to travel to Colombia, be sure to contact all the Colombia communities to get the latest travel information. Colombia can be dangerous, but it is very beautiful and the people are terrific. However, there are areas that are not safe. Travel after 4 pm is definitely not recommended and should be avoided at all cost. The communities will give you good information on where and when to travel, and will show you their town and often take you on the rides in the area.
