We're two motorbike fans from Germany on a trip to Iran via Turkey. After that, we'll also go back via Caucasus and Russia which will make up up to 50% of the time of our travel. We try to leave out big cities and tourist hubs in order to get into areas that usually don't see foreign travelers.
After completing my trip from Zurich to Singapore via Siberia in 2012 I knew it would not be my last. I have spent almost 3 years saving like crazy to do another cross continental adventure. This time I am riding through South and Central America. I’ll again spend half the time with other people (6 weeks with Motolombia on the Amazon Challenge, and 2 months with my Fiancé Joern Ruders) and the rest of the trip solo. I like to mix it up that way!
I am currently in Orlando Florida and the trip kicks off in full on the 10th August 2015.
I hope you enjoy my blog, cheers Lorraine

Solo on Moto is a challenging around the world motorcycle journey that Eli Coory (from the UK) is doing for children with cancer alone, unsponsored and unsupported. Not only he rides but he documents the journey with cool videos, photos and article while also helping children with cancer as he goes along all alone without support of any kind.
MotoLara was created to share our passion for motorcycle traveling through our photographs, stories and videos.
This is a personal account of an six month solo motorcycle journey on a DR650SE named Felix through Scotland and England, South-East Europe (The Balkans), Turkey, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Western Siberia, Western Russia, and northern and central Europe. At the moment its focus is on travellers tales, encounters and situations, but I hope to broaden into more practical areas as I become more familiar with the technology and can get more time to blog. It is a first-time trip of this kind.
