Olson says: "I can never stop thinking about the next trip. My wife and I are expecting a new Baby this spring and I know that I may be homeward bound for awhile. By getting involved in this community I feel maybe I can meet some fellow travelers and live vicariously through them during my baby sabbatical. I'm very knowledgeable about travel in Mexico and can provide a nice backyard for tent camping (showers too) and a nice garage for wrenching in."
Sounds good to me, thanks Olson! Contact Olson via the HU Community listing for Fayetteville, NC.
My name is Rafal and I'm living in south of Poland, near Krakow and in close proximity of Czech and Slovakian border.
Interested in travelling myself (4x4 camper). Been to UK for 7 years and moved back to my own place in Poland in 2011. If You are thinking about visiting south of Poland, Krakow etc drop me a line and hopefully I will be able to help.
I can offer space to park the bikes, a little mechanical help and use of a decent workshop. I can also offer camping for free for quite a few folk (biig garden :) or if its really bad weather I have a spare small quest room that you could have. It`s a small village so you will have quiet time here.
Easy access to Krakow (15km) and you could use the bus to get there and back to save you the traffic. Quite close to Auschwitz museum (I know lot of people wants to see this).
Anyway, safe travelling and see You some time hopefully.

What is it like to spend weeks, months or years on the road?In this 2-DVD set, our veteran travellers share their tips (and great stories) for...
My name is Damian Galvin & after leaving my dream Engineering job at Aston Martin Ltd in the uk, I set up White Mountain Property in Brasov, Transylvania. But I haven't lost my petrol-headed roots! I'm an ex UK member of HU & am happy to help any passing bikers as best I can. So if you need to re-weld your frame, change a tyre, or rebuild the engine, I usually know someone who can help. I myself broke down in my landrover at the top of the Transfagaras mountain road, 25km from the main hightway & knowing where to get a tow truck to get me back to Brasov made a massive difference to the experience.
Brasov, Bran, Moieciu, Fundata, Transfagarasan, Pestera etc are truly incredible places to visit & I highly recommend it as a bikers prime destination. As an avid bike traveller (I have an Africa Twin, DR800 & a had GS1100), I live in (gorgeous) Brosov (google it), near the centre of transylvania & am happy to help with anything from a free safe to leave you bike overnight while you stay in a town hotel to finding you affordable holiday villa rental in the midst of incredible biker routes. One such villa is only 500meters away from the excellent but maybe expensive 'MotoRom' KTM centre near Bran Castle. So you can use the centre by day or half day & get me to find you a villa for you or a group to stay in. http://www.craiasabranului.com.
This is a short vid of some riding routes I made recently. Also here.
I run a Motorcycle tour and renting company in Mexico. I had the privilege to collaborate with Grant Johnson during the HU traveler meetings in Copper Canyon, Mexico 2005 and 2006. Our team have assisted many riders in Mexico and central America from all over to complete the journeys successfully.

I gave a talk at HU in Ireland (May 2011), this is the car parking we used, lots have asked so I thought I should post it.
Ask for Irene (who speaks perfect English) and tell her I (Stephen Potts) recommended you. She could not have been more helpful on the many trips we made, airport pickups and drop-offs are free, and she even took us out on the town before we left. I can’t say enough good things about this place and your bike will be 100% safe. We were away for 3 months at one point and she emailed to ask we wanted them to run the bikes for a few mins to keep batteries charged, you don’t get better than that.
