We make all arrangements for foreign licensed motorcycle entry into and travel around Xinjiang, China. Typical entry and exit points are Korgas, Torugart Pass, Irkeshtam Pass and Khunjerab Pass. If you are planning on a trip to China, check our website or contact us for up-to-date information about entering with and touring on your motorcycle.
For foreign-licensed motorcycles we arrange paperwork, permits, licenses and required accompanying guide/liaison officer for those wanting to enter or exit China, Xinjiang (to/from Pakistan or Kyrgyzstan, etc.)
Buying a (CJ Sidecar) Motorcycle in Beijing: It is still illegal to ride independently in China, and to cross a border into China on a motorcycle that is not licensed and registered in China by a Chinese resident. Who knows when this may change, but for now, you must live in China and get a Chinese drivers license in order to ride there. Big Bill in Beijing has written up a bunch of FAQs on the process, if you still wish to investigate it.
